Fire Blotter | Near-Drowning at the Club; Playground Zipline Fall; Motorcycle/Deer Collision

Crews responded to the outdoor pool at the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge for the report of an individual who was discovered underwater in the deep end. Lifeguards performed CPR, and the individual was resuscitated. The patient was transported to the hospital. 

July 2, 2024

Crews were dispatched to the Little Si Trailhead for the report of a person who fell approximately 15 feet from a climbing tower and possibly suffered a spinal injury. Crews hiked about 1.5 miles up the trail to help the injured person off the mountain.

Crews responded to westbound I-90 just west of exit 22 for the report of a two-vehicle collision, with one vehicle fully engulfed in flames. All occupants were uninjured and out of the vehicles.

Crews responded to Fisher Creek Park for the report of an adult who fell from the playground zipline and suffered a small laceration on the back of their head.

Crews responded to North Fork Road after receiving a report of a 20-foot-wide brush fire along the roadside. The fire was extinguished. 

July 6, 2024

Crews were dispatched to westbound I-90 east of exit 27 for reports of a motorcycle that struck a deer. Following the collision, the motorcycle rider was struck by multiple vehicles on the freeway.

The rider was, unfortunately, deceased at the scene. Crews performed an area search to ensure no other motorcycle rider was involved. No other riders were found.

Crews responded to a Snoqualmie residence to assist someone who fainted and was nauseous. It was reported that members of the household had tested positive for covid.

Crews responded to the Snoqualmie River in Fall City to assist a 6-month pregnant female whose water broke. A boat brought the woman to shore from an island in the river, and then she was transported to the hospital.

Crews responded to the Snoqualmie River in Fall City to rescue two people from the water whose innertube popped. They were reported to be in the water hanging onto a log. The individuals safely made it out of the river uninjured.

Crews responded to a Snoqualmie Ridge neighborhood for the report of an individual who fell off their scooter and hit their head on the sidewalk. A passerby who reported the incident stated that the injured person was able to answer questions. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Crews were dispatched to the Raging River Trailhead for the report of a mountain biker who fell during a jump and suffered a head injury.

EMTs were dispatched to an accident on SR 202 near Fish Hatchery Road involving a car that went into a roadside barrier. The car caught fire, and trees also caught fire. Crews got the fire under control. The vehicle occupant did not sustain serious injuries. 

July 9, 2024

A caller reported seeing smoke in the area. Crews investigated and determined the source to be a small cooking fire at a nearby home. The fire was extinguished. 

July 10, 2024

Crews responded to a Snoqualmie home to assist a person who fell. The person was provided with lift assistance.
