Fire Blotter | Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Collision; Heat Exhaustion; Swift Water Rescue

EMTs responded to a motorcycle-vs.-vehicle collision at the intersection of SE North Bend Way and 384th Ave SE. Witnesses reported the motorcycle rider was on the ground, and the collision was blocking one lane of westbound North Bend Way. The injured party received treatment at the scene and was transported to the hospital.

Crews responded to Echo Glen Children’s Center for the report of an incarcerated female in active labor. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Crews responded to a small grass fire on the roadside near Meadowbrook Way and 384th Ave SE. The fire was approximately one ft. by three ft. and was extinguished by firefighters.

Crews responded to a Snoqualmie residence to assist a person who fell out of the bed of their truck, hit debris during the fall, and could not get up. The patient had rib and hip pain and was transported to the hospital.

Crews responded to the Snoqualmie Fall Trails for the report of a hiker who suffered heat exhaustion. They assisted the hiker off the trail. No hospital transport was required. 

July 14, 2024

Crews were dispatched to the Snoqualmie River near Fall City for the report of a teenager in the river. The person was in a life jacket and floating down the river with two other people. The caller reported they were out of the ‘dangerous area.’ The involved individuals made it to shore. Crews were advised to evaluate the teen, who was fine and with the parents.

Crews responded for a fall assist at a Snoqualmie home. The patient was successfully lifted. 

July 17, 2024

Crews responded to the Snoqualmie Community Park bog for the report of smoke.  A three-foot diameter fire was discovered at the base of a tree. It was extinguished.

Crews were dispatched to the SR 202/Sr 203 roundabout in Fall City for the report of a male who jumped into the river. It was determined that the person was fine and had jumped into the river and swam to shore.

Crews responded to the Snoqualmie Bartell Drugs parking lot to extinguish a bark fire.

Crews responded to the Salish Lodge restaurant for the report of a person who lost consciousness for two minutes. When the person became responsive, they were vomiting. The patient was transported to the hospital.
