Finally Friday Art & Wine Walk returns to streets of Downtown Snoqualmie, May 25th

Like wine? Like art? Like summer? Then Friday evenings on Railroad Ave might be just the place for you to be.

The Snoqualmie Arts Commission and Mt. Si Artists Guild announced the return of the Finally Friday Art & Wine Walk, kicking off May 25th from 6PM – 9PM. in historic downtown Snoqualmie.

Held the final Friday of each month through September, the popular summer event series starts at Hauglie’s Insurance at the corner of Railroad Ave. SE and SE River Street.

This is the sixth year of the art walk, which began as the Merry & Bright holiday open house and art walk in December 2012. Since then, the event has grown each year – with locals and visitors alike enjoying regional artists providing demonstrations, live music, light hors d’oeuvres prepared by local restaurants and served in various store fronts, and optional wine tastings – eventually becoming the Finally Friday Art & Wine Walks in 2015.

“Of course, we do it for the art, but when it’s sunny and there’s music playing downtown, the wine adds a special touch,” said Sally Rackets, chair of the Snoqualmie Arts Commission and lead organizer of the event.

Tickets for the wine tasting can be purchased for $25 starting at 6 PM the day of the event at Kevin Hauglie’s Farmers Insurance.  Advance online tickets can be purchased for $20. Tickets include a souvenir wine glass and 10 complimentary tastings.
