The Washington State Fire Training Academy (FTA) has notified the City that it will be hosting training exercises in early June and again in mid-July that may result in explosive noises being heard in areas of North Bend.
Explosive noises are possible from 8 AM to 5 PM, June 1st through June 4th and July 12th through July 16th, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The Fire Training Academy is located just east of North Bend, off I-90 exit 38. It protects the citizens of Washington State through training, collaboration, and support of the fire service and other public safety professionals.
