David Johnson (he/him) has been writing and recording music since 2003 and performing since 2012. Heartfelt, offbeat and occasionally visceral, David’s music lays his heart bare. With material that brings light to his own experiences while leaving room for listeners to draw parallels of their own, hearing his music is a unique experience.
The people in David’s life bring most of the inspiration for his songs; conversations weave themselves into the melodies and paint portraits of his relationships.
He is currently recording his ninth studio album. Themes such as mental health, addiction, unrequited love, infatuation and dreams will provide a detailed view of the last few years. You can find his music and videos at davidjmusic.com
