Mt Si Artist Guild is honored to have Carol Ross teach Sumi Ink on Clayboard on April 15, 2023, from 9-12:30 PM at Si View Community Center.
Work using Clayboard and Ink to create a nuanced black-and-white portrait of a bird or animal. Carol Ross is a professional artist with 17 years of experience in many mediums, from ceramics to painting.
She fell in love with the Sumi Ink on Clayboard process after taking a workshop in Arizona. This technique is appropriate for both beginner and experienced artists.
No drawing skills are required, just an observant eye! All equipment and supplies are provided. Students will go home with their own ready-to-hang painting, as well as a new medium to explore on their own.
Workshop Date, Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 9:00 to 12:30 PM at Si View Community Center. Class size is limited to 12 people, ages 14 and up.
