About the Sommelier: Janet Beeby is a wine educator and certified sommelier with a serious passion for wine, food, and the magic that happens when they come together. She believes wine should be fun, approachable, and thoroughly enjoyable—without ever breaking the bank. Janet loves writing and teaching about unusual wines and far-flung winemakers, sharing stories that make wine feel exciting, accessible, and downright delicious. She also really, really loves dogs. Certified through the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, Janet is also a French and Spanish wine scholar through the Wine Scholar Guild —always exploring, always learning, and always ready to share a great bottle.
