Sunday Evening, July 11th, at approximately 7:30 PM Eastside Fire& Rescue was called to a large house fire at 488th AVE SE on Mt. Si Road.
Reports on social media spoke of smoke that could be seen from all over the valley with nearby trees engulfed. Multiple fire engines and a water truck from Eastside Fire, Fall City, Snoqualmie and Bellevue were on scene.
EF&R reports no one was home at the time of the fire. The house was fully involved when crews arrived.
The fire took about 45 minutes to contain but was difficult due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area. The cause is unknown.
Crews remained on the scene throughout the evening. There were no injuries.
