Don’t Panic, Snoqualmie Valley: That Low-Flying Jet Is Just the Boeing Classic

Every year, it happens: heads turn, windows rattle, and social media lights up with, “Was that supposed to happen?” Yes, it was. The Boeing Classic is back, and with it comes the traditional jetliner flyover that never fails to surprise a few unsuspecting residents.

On Friday, August 8, 2025, the 20th annual Boeing Classic PGA Champions Tour tournament will officially begin with a dramatic flyover of The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge golf course.

A Boeing jetliner will soar low over the 18th green at approximately 11:15 a.m., kicking off the weekend-long event in signature style. A second jet will return for a celebratory flyover to mark the tournament’s conclusion on Sunday, August 10, around 4 p.m.

2022 flyover

As always, the flyovers are subject to weather and FAA restrictions—but if the skies cooperate, it’ll be hard to miss.

The City of Snoqualmie is proud to be the Home of the Boeing Classic, and this year’s tournament once again includes Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, with free general admission and parking for all active, veteran, and retired military personnel and their families (with valid Military ID).
