It’s back for a third year – the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA’s Dine out for a Cause, which helps fund scholarships for after school and summer programs. I won’t be able to make it this year – but I hope many of you will!
Come to Ana’s Family-Style Mexican Restaurant on Snoqualmie Ridge, Wednesday, February 11th from 5PM-8PM to help raise money for the YMCA’s Partners with Youth campaign.
Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson, Police Chief Steve McCulley, Fire Chief Mark Correira and Park & Public Works Director Dan Marcinko will once again be finding you a table, bringing you chips and salsa and serving you dinner – all to help fund scholarships to the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA for kids who might not otherwise be able to afford YMCA programs and camps.
All you have to do is order Ana’s famous Enchiladas and Enchiladas Suisas and the restaurant will donate the proceeds toward the Y’s annual Partners with Youth scholarship program. This year, the Snoqualmie Valley Y hopes to reach a goal of $72,000 – 20% higher than raised in 2014.
This is always a fun event and I will miss playing restaurant hostess for a night. I hope the community will make the event as highly attended as in previous years.
