Dig In to Restore the Forest at Jeanne Hansen Park, March 30

Lend a hand in caring for one of Snoqualmie’s natural treasures at the upcoming Green Snoqualmie Partnership event on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Volunteers will help restore a 5.5-acre section of forest surrounding Jeanne Hansen Community Park, located at 34226 SE Jacobia Street on Snoqualmie Ridge.

Participants will plant native evergreen trees and shrubs and spread mulch to support the health of the urban forest. These actions benefit the local ecosystem and help ensure the forest thrives for generations.

Where to Meet & What to Bring
Volunteers should meet in the Jeanne Hansen Park parking lot and look for the Green Snoqualmie trailer. Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a water bottle. Work gloves will be provided for those who need them.
