Creating Opportunity Event Aims to Support Housing Stability in the Snoqualmie Valley

Reclaim, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting housing stability and community resilience, will host its annual Creating Opportunity event on Friday, September 27, at Si View Community Center in North Bend.

The evening gathering is designed to celebrate Reclaims work while raising critical funds for programs that provide safety, dignity, and long-term stability for individuals and families across the Snoqualmie Valley.

Event Details

The fundraiser begins at 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour, silent auction, and community art walk, followed by dinner and program at 6 p.m. The evening will also feature a raffle and a raise-the-paddle opportunity to support Reclaims programs.

Attendees can expect a mix of celebration and purpose, with proceeds directly funding local services such as the Front Door community service center, a 90-day Shelter to Home program, eviction prevention, severe weather shelter, and gender-based violence support.

Reclaim also provides essential resources, including free clothing, toiletries, transportation, case management, emergency food, and assistance in applying for Social Security and other public benefits.

Community Impact

Funds raised from the event will help sustain programs such as eviction prevention, shelter services, gender-based violence support, and access to basic needs, including food, clothing, and transportation. Organizers describe the evening as both a celebration of progress and an opportunity to raise awareness and funding for ongoing community needs.

How to Participate

The event is open to the public, with opportunities for both attendance and sponsorship. Local businesses and individuals can support Reclaim through sponsorship tiers that include brand recognition, event exposure, and other benefits.
