The City of North Bend announced on September 12, 2016 that in mid-September, construction will begin on The Cottages at North Bend, a 37-lot Polygon Homes subdivision, located along SE Cedar Falls Way just west of 436th Avenue SE
According to a city press release, construction of the infrastructure should take 4 to 8 months to complete. Actual construction of the cottage homes is anticipated to begin in spring to summer of 2017 and continue through fall of 2017.
The city stated that improvements in the area will include the paving of Tanner Trail, located immediately north of the site and along the south side of North Bend Way.
Traffic impacts are expected to be fairly minimal throughout the entire project timeframe.
