If you drove up or down Snoqualmie Parkway yesterday near the intersection of Fairway Ave, you may have noticed something happening; signs of impending construction in the business park.
Work began yesterday on a new building for HO Sports/Motion Water Sports, maker of water sports equipment. The new facility will include 21,000 square feet of office space, a 107,000 square-foot warehouse and on-site parking accessible from the business park.
The new building will be located on the corner of Fairway Ave and Snoqualmie Parkway in the Snoqualmie Business Park. Construction perimeter fencing went up yesterday and a few trees came down on the buffer of land separating the business park from Snoqualmie Parkway. Councilwoman Maria Henriksen says, “The portion of the buffer that will be cleared for the construction phase of the project will be replanted, though.” Clearing and grading will continue until building construction begins.
HO Sports has been in business for 30 years, has roughly 50 employees and is the maker of HO Skis and Hyperlite wakeboards. Hyperlite is the longest standing brand of wakeboards in the marketplace.
HO Sports in currently located in Redmond, WA.
