The City of North Bend invites the community to a virtual Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 7PM to discuss the creation of the Meadowbrook Utility Local Improvement District (ULID), which would extend public sanitary sewer service into the western portion of City Limits.
Last year, a majority of Meadowbrook area property owners signed a petition requesting the City of North Bend extend sewer to serve homes and businesses in the western portion of the City limits.
During the Town Hall, Public Works Director Mark Rigos and other City staff will compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of public sewer vs. septic drain fields; provide approximate costs of an extended sewer system; estimated costs to individual property owners for the sewer extension; and potential timing of the ULID if approved.
