The big focus of next Tuesday’s Community Center/YMCA public input meeting will be future adult, kids and teen programming.
From the city’s press release: “Based on current design, YMCA of Greater Seattle Eastside Regional Executive, Marcia Isenberger, and her staff members have begun planning programs to support the needs of the community based on public input, ideas from Board of Directors for the Snoqualmie YMCA and historical data.
YMCA staff will present an overview of activities and programs that will likely be offered and the various spaces within the community center where programs will be held. These programming plans are at the starting point. The YMCA is relying on citizens to provide feedback, suggest additional ideas for programming and be a liaison to their families and friends to gather more community input.”
I know many residents and local business owners are/were concerned about programming and the possible overlapping of it with existing services available in the Ridge retail area. This is the chance to shape future community programming and be heard.
Again, the meeting is Tuesday, 9/28/10, from 6:30-8PM inside council chambers at Snoqualmie City Hall. The new city hall is located at 38624 SE River Street.
