Blitz the Seahawk mascot is coming to the Trail Youth coffee shop at 226 E. North Bend Way, October 16, from 2 to 3.
This family fun event is free; you can drop in between 2-3 PM, get a photo with Blitz, enjoy free blue & green donuts, and drink specials. Blitz will sign a football that Trail Youth will be offering in their virtual auction fundraiser coming up on October 21.
The fundraisers’ goal is to raise $40,000, and if you register by Friday, October 15, Trail Youth will send you a bag of their freshly roasted coffee.
Trail of Hope is Trail Youth’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Join them October 21, 2021, 7-8 PM virtually for a live event & auction supporting Trail Youth.
Trail Youth needs support from the community more than ever. Last month they served 175 different youth. Many of those teens come through their doors several times a week.
Did you know that the most recent (2028) Snoqualmie Valley Healthy Youth Survey reported 1 in 4 Snoqualmie Valley 12th graders have seriously contemplated suicide in the past year? The same survey reports that 1 in 4 local youth does not have a trusted adult to talk to. Trail Youth Executive Director Tonya Guinn says, “during this pandemic, isolation and depression have increased.”
When you donate to Trail Youth, you support local youth by giving them mentorship, job & skills training, community, friendship and a safe place to go.
Most importantly, you are providing them a place that reminds them that they are loved, worthy, and have a purpose. Will you help them reach their goal of $40,000 to serve more youth and build our community?
Register today or donate to the Trail of Hope Virtual fundraiser on 10/21. Help Trail Youth help our local young people.
