Upstage the Rage will bring an evening of sketch and improv comedy to Snoqualmie on Saturday, October 10, to raise money for Snoqualmie Valley for Responsible Energy (SVRE).
“Batteries Not Included” will be held at the Snoqualmie Inn by Hotel America. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the silent auction begins at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. Tickets include entertainment and two drinks.
The event will feature special guests Jen Cargill and Erin Plischke of Carskee, a husband-and-wife improv duo who have performed together for 28 years, including 16 years in Seattle.
Proceeds will support Snoqualmie Valley for Responsible Energy, a volunteer-run organization that opposes the proposed Cascadia Ridge battery energy storage system project and advocates for changes to local regulations governing similar projects. The organization says funds raised will help cover legal and expert costs.
Organizers will also collect food donations for the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank during the event.
Upstage the Rage is a nonprofit organization that produces comedy shows benefiting organizations focused on individual rights and marginalized communities.
