In May, the City of Snoqualmie launched a comprehensive community survey to gather feedback from residents, assess the city’s services, and help shape the city’s first strategic plan. Randomly selected households were mailed a postcard survey invitation, followed by a paper copy of the survey for those who preferred it.
With the random-sample Community Survey well underway, the City has now launched the open participation survey from June 16 to 30.
Residents 18 and older, whose households were not selected for the random-sample survey, are encouraged to participate in the open-participation survey and share their opinions on topics including housing, transportation, outdoor recreation, education, and civic engagement.
The open-participation survey contains the same questions as the random-sample survey that launched last month. Please note that after answering the survey questions, you will be asked to provide your email address and zip code. This is optional. However, registering helps ensure that we only hear from each person once and see which respondents live inside or outside the City.
Providing an email address also allows you to receive notifications of future surveys or polling efforts the City conducts. Survey responses are confidential, and no identifying information will be shared by Polco, the independent consultant surveying on behalf of the City.

**Please note: Residents whose households were selected for the random-sample survey last month are asked to complete that survey – either online or via the mailed paper survey – and not take the open-participation survey. **
Both surveys close on June 30. The City will receive a comprehensive report of survey results in August 2025. Community members will be able to view the report in public meetings and online.
Snoqualmie Community Survey
The City worked with Polco, an independent consultant, to develop its community survey. The National Community Survey (NCS) enables the City to compare results and benchmark residents’ opinions against those of similar communities.
