Celebrating Community Legends: An Evening with Danny Kolke & Gary Schwartz

Join The North Bend Theatre for a special evening celebrating two of North Bend’s most influential community members, Danny Kolke and Gary Schwartz.

This unique event, “An Evening with Danny and Gary: The Arts, Acting, and the Blues,” will take place on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the North Bend Theatre.

Danny Kolke, founder of Boxley’s and JazzClubs NW, has been a cornerstone of the local music scene, bringing world-class jazz and blues to North Bend and fostering a vibrant cultural community. His dedication to live performance and music education has made a lasting impact on the town.

Gary Schwartz, founder of Valley Center Stage and a renowned voice actor, has enriched the community through his contributions to the performing arts. His work in theater, acting, and engaging storytelling has inspired many and brought the arts to life in North Bend.

This event offers a rare opportunity to learn more about these remarkable individuals in a conversational format. The evening will include a video presentation, followed by a moderated discussion, during which attendees can gain insights into their lives, achievements, and the positive changes they have brought to the community through the arts, acting, and the blues.

They will also share details on how and why they founded their respective arts organizations and discuss the future of the arts in the Snoqualmie Valley.

Beth Burrows, owner of the North Bend Theatre, will moderate the discussion, ensuring a lively and engaging conversation. The videos will briefly review Danny and Gary’s illustrious careers.
