Celebrate Trees and Community at Snoqualmie’s Arbor Day Event, April 26

Help grow Snoqualmie’s urban forest and enjoy a day of family-friendly fun at Centennial Fields Park on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Green Snoqualmie Partnership will host the Arbor Day Celebration, which will welcome city staff, elected leaders, and community members for an afternoon of tree planting and festivities.

Eighteen trees—oak, Gingko, and European Hornbeam—will be planted, chosen for their ability to thrive in the Snoqualmie Valley climate. The event also features a scavenger hunt, kids’ activities, an Arbor Day Proclamation by Mayor Katherine Ross, and pizza.

Arbor Day is a national holiday that Snoqualmie marks each year to highlight the value of trees and promote responsible planting practices. This spring, the City was again recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation with Tree City USA status—an honor Snoqualmie has now earned thanks to its commitment to urban forest stewardship.
