Mayor Miller will proclaim Friday, November 14, 2025, as Arbor Day in North Bend.
The City of North Bend, in partnership with Mountains to Sound Greenway and community volunteers, will host a planting event along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River from 2 to 4 p.m.
Participants will help restore riparian habitat by planting native plants in key locations along the river.
Please park at the public Park and Ride at 301 W North Bend Way, where Mountains to Sound Greenway staff will direct participants to the planting site.
This free event is open to all ages. An adult must accompany participants under 13. For safety, volunteers are required to wear long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and gloves (provided).
Recommended items to bring include warm layers, rain gear, a small daypack for snacks and extra layers, and at least one full water bottle.
Register through the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust at www.mtsgreenway.org/event/north-bend-arbor-day-2025.
