Carnation’s Lake Marcel Toxic Algae Warning

An algal bloom in Lake Marcel had high concentrations of the toxin anatoxin.

People and pets should not swim in the lake, drink lake water, or engage in other water-contact activities.

Bacteria monitoring at swimming beaches has ended for the season. Algal toxin monitoring will continue through October.
