On Monday morning, December 3, 2018, the Snoqualmie Police Department reported via social media that an alert resident helped police catch three car prowl suspects in the Eagle Pointe neighborhood of Snoqualmie Ridge – in the vicinity of Ash Ave and Frontier Street.

According tor residents in the area, the arrests were made around 4:30AM after a female reported a possible vehicle prowl in progress when she noticed two subjects walking around with flashlights looking into cars.

Snoqualmie Police stated: “Officers arrived on scene shortly after the call came out and located a male matching the given description with gloves on and two different bags on the ground next to him, one had a girls name on it. During an interview officers learned the suspect’s girlfriend was waiting nearby in a vehicle. A short time later a day shift officer located the waiting vehicle and contacted the female driver. After she was taking into custody for additional crimes, she told officers she was trying to make her way to a local apartment complex. She was also identified as the girlfriend of one of the male suspects.”

Police said around same time another call for a suspicious person came in from the same area after a homeowner’s security camera system woke them up with a warning that someone was on their porch. The camera showed a male unplugging their Christmas lights and plugging in his phone.
