Busy stretch of Mt. Si Blvd in North Bend scheduled to be repaved, re-striped

The City of North Bend announced that paving overlay work is scheduled for a stretch of busy Mt. Si Blvd – between Bendigo Boulevard (SR 202) through just past Taco Time – beginning on Monday, October 28th.

The work is weather dependent. The city said the area will be repaved and re-striped, and traffic signal loops will be replaced.

During paving work, a detour will be in place to redirect traffic. Paving will occur at night and at least one driveway to all businesses will remain open throughout construction. Re-striping of the road and replacement of signal loops will occur during the day and will result in lane closures.

The Chevron at 745 SW Mt. Si Blvd will also have a water service replaced – that work is tentatively scheduled for the week of October 21st. Water service work and associated detour will be completed during the day.
