Bridge 2178-15 along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail near Duvall Park has been closed due to safety concerns.
A routine inspection found significant structural rot. King County Parks will begin repairs on October 28, and the work is expected to take approximately three weeks.
The repairs will not require any in-ground work. However, this section of the Snoqualmie Valley Trail will be closed throughout the repair period. No detour is available for trail users who normally pass through this section.
King County Parks is working to repair the bridge as quickly as possible. Updates will be shared as construction dates are confirmed. Trail users can check FunFinder at www.kingcounty.gov/funfinder for the latest information.
For questions about the closure or repairs, contact King County Parks at parksinfo@kingcounty.gov or (206) 477-4527.
