Fall City has quickly become the place to be for trick-or-treating, and this year the celebration gets even bigger! For the first time ever, Aroma Coffee Co. will stay open until 7 PM on Halloween night, offering a cozy, family-friendly landing spot for the whole community. Guests are invited to stop in, refuel, recharge, and be Wickedly entertained.
From 5–7 PM, enjoy special entertainment sponsored by Fall City Arts and 4Culture, featuring photo opportunities with theater performers dressed as Elphaba and Glinda, plus a roaming magician from The Great Surprisal.
The Wicked duo will also perform musical numbers, including the duet “Defying Gravity” and Glinda’s solo “Popular.” And joining the fun, local legend Pete Nelson will make an appearance as the Wizard of Oz !
Wicked-inspired décor and festivities will fill the shop through November 1, making Aroma Coffee Co. a magical stop all season long.
Aroma is also honored to host Billy Bones, a beloved Fall City Halloween tradition. This 12-foot skeleton, known for his clever themed costumes, has delighted the community for years thanks to a cherished local family.
This year, the family is taking time to focus on a health journey, and Fall City Arts and Aroma Coffee Co. are carrying on the tradition, hosting Billy outside Aroma, dressed as Glinda from Wicked. A nearby QR code will allow visitors to donate to Live Gray’s Way, the nonprofit chosen by the family.
“Aroma has always been about creating space for connection,” said co-owner Emily Ridout. “We’re thrilled to extend our hours and work with amazing nonprofits and neighbors to help bring the community together for such a festive and fun Halloween night.” Don’t miss this Wickedly fun evening for all!
And don’t forget to visit the Fall City Fire Department, another fun community stop to start or end the night. Beginning at 6 PM, the Fire Department will host its annual event with candy, light sticks, and hot cider, a favorite gathering spot for families before and after trick-or-treating.
