There will be some loud booms heard around the Valley this weekend. But don’t worry, the artillery isn’t real.
Snoqualmie Valley residents are being invited back in time. All the way back to the turbulent times of The American Civil War, a time when 700,000 Americans perished as a result of the war.
This weekend, August 29th and August 30th, is a chance to hear the boom of the artillery, see the uniforms, feel the weight of the rifles and packs that the soldiers carried, meet the period-era ladies in their beautiful dresses and watch as civil war battles are reenacted.
This happens at the Battle of Snoqualmie, a civil war re-enactment taking place at Meadowbrook Farm, on Boalch Ave between Snoqualmie and North Bend on Saturday, August 29th from 9AM to 5PM and Sunday, August 30th from 9AM to 3PM.
Admission (CASH ONLY) is $10 per adult (18+); $7 Active military; $5 per youth (11-18); and FREE for kids 10 and under.
