The City of Snoqualmie Police Department is confirming what the activity was at Snoqualmie Falls yesterday that caused the popular park to be closed off by police.
At approximately 2PM on Sunday,December 16th, Snoqualmie police officers located a vehicle in the Snoqualmie Falls Park parking lot belonging to a 60-year-old man reported missing to the Bellevue Police Department. The man’s body was found below the Snoqualmie Falls observation area and recovered by King County Search and Rescue and Seattle Mountain Rescue.
Police officials did not comment on what caused the man to fall to his death. The Bellevue Police Department is managing the missing person investigation.
