The popular North Bend Blues Walk is back. The one-day blues festival that takes over historic downtown North Bend is returning after a temporary ‘Covid vacation.’
On Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 6 PM to midnight, one ticket gets attendees into 17 North Bend venues featuring 22 bands and more than 100 musicians. The event is presented by a local nonprofit, Jazz Clubs NW, which is committed to supporting live jazz performances and education.
Danny Kolke of Jazz Clubs NW commented, “We’re excited to bring the very popular North Bend Blues Walk back to the community and music lovers. We’re committed to making the night both safe and fun for attendees.”
As part of the Covid-19 event planning, tickets sales are limited this year to reduce the total number of attendees by approximately half. Following the current Washington State mandate, masks are required at the event except when eating, drinking, or for performing musicians. Individual venues are responsible for managing the mask requirement. Additionally, proof of vaccination is not required to attend, and in the event of cancellation due to a Covid policy change, tickets will be refunded.
Tickets can be purchased at www.northbendblueswalk.com and picked up at event headquarters – Cook Real Estate, 102 W. North Bend Way – on the event day beginning at 4:30 PM. Purchase before October 11th to receive an early bird $5 discount. Adult tickets are $25 and youth, $15 (with discount).
