The Washington State Patrol said a bike rider suffered a medical emergency near downtown Fall City and passed away, Sunday, August 16, 2015.
WSP stated the 51-year old Fall City man was riding his bike westbound on the shoulder of SR 202/SE Redmond-Fall City Road, just west of 332nd Ave SE, around 8AM when he suffered the medical problem. He came to rest off the roadway in the grass.
According to an online Fall City community group, the man was riding his bike to work and may have suffered a heart attack. Witnesses and EMT’s attempted CPR at the scene, but were unsuccessful. SR 202 was partially blocked for about 30 minutes Sunday morning.
A Washington State Patrol incident report identified the man as Robert Chris. Many community members commenting on Facebook described Robert as a kind, sweet soul who will be greatly missed. He was an employee of the Farmhouse Market in Fall City.

Robert Chris was one of the most real, kind hearted and genuine men around. The world has indeed lost a beautiful soul. R.I.P. my dear friend…
There was another accident (motorcycle with another motorcycle) in the late afternoon on the Preston-Fall City Road yesterday. I am very interested to know how the seriously injured man is doing after being taken to Harborview.
Thanks.
Hi Ken…. hoping to get some info on the other incident from KCSO.
