It’s going to be a busy weekend in Snoqualmie, with three pretty big events happening. And hey, if you’re doing some fall home organizing or cleaning, a couple of these happenings can help you with that endeavor, too.
But don’t forget to have some fun first at the annual Snoqualmie Valley Block Party. Weather halted the event last year (pesky wind), but it’s back and organizers say it will be better than ever!
Snoqualmie Valley Block Party happens on Saturday, September 16th from 11AM to 6PM.
Center Blvd will be closed off so residents can gather in the street for fun that includes live music, vendor booths, bouncy houses, face painting, food, fire trucks for the kids to explore, a library bus – and even a PUP Dog Rescue Adoption.
Fall Snoqualmie Ridge Community Garage Sale happens on Friday, September 15th and Saturday, September 16th from 9AM – 4PM.
This bi-annual garage sale is well advertised by the Snoqualmie Ridge ROA and draws deal shoppers from across the Eastside. Look for red balloons to spot participating homes – and happy shopping!
Snoqualmie Fall Recycling Event happens on Saturday, September 16th from 9AM to 3PM in the parking lot of Centennial Field, 39903 SE Park Street.
Last year lines were really long so be prepared. The event is FREE and they even accept almost all electronics, including old boxy TVs. There will even be a Shred-it truck on site. So grab a brown bag and load it with all those old documents and un-clutter those file cabinets and drawers.
Load up that car – it’s a perfect time to organize your house, with a drop off point close to home.
