Big Police Presence at Fairway Lane Townhomes Overnight; Snoqualmie Police Assist State Patrol on Assault Case

There was a lot of police activity and ensuing commotion at the Fairway Lane Townhome development last night, located at the corner of Fairway Ave and Snoqualmie Parkway on Snoqualmie Ridge.

Snoqualmie Police were assisting the Washington State Patrol on an assault case, according to Snoqualmie Police Captain, Nick Almquist.

Fairway Lane Townhome residents reported hearing doors slamming and yelling beginning around 9PM, Sunday, January 20th, near the 7800 block of Fairway Ave.

A Fairway Lane resident  reported seeing numerous police vehicles (state and local) and officers in the rear of her townhome unit, shining lights on a neighbor’s back deck a few doors down with their guns drawn.

According to witnesses, a short time later an occupant of that townhome was forcibly brought out of the residence and handcuffed. Witness  said the person apprehended appeared “belligerent.”

A fire truck and aid car were also on the scene. Fairway Lane residents say the scene was wrapped up by 10:30PM.

Story will be updated as more details become available.
