Yes, you read that right. Snoqualmie’s Anytime Fitness is offering FREE outdoor fitness classes – five Saturdays in a row, right next door the club at Snoqualmie Community Park.
Anytime Fitness announced last week that it is hosting fun-infused, exercise classes incorporating activities like tug-of-war, relay races, obstacle courses (and more) every Saturday in May. Participants just need to meet at the gym, 7713 Center Blvd SE, and be ready for some exercise disguised as fun.
The five consecutive Free Workout Saturdays will be led by certified personal trainers and are designed for people of every fitness level. They are open to all adults – not just Anytime Fitness members.
The concept, inspired by grassroots efforts of a few Anytime Fitness clubs that regularly offer free outdoor boot camps, has grown into a nationwide company campaign to promote physical fitness.
“We want our community to be as healthy and active as possible – and we hope that the Free Workouts Saturdays will show folks that exercise can be fun,” said Darren Gillespie, co-owner of Anytime Fitness. “We hope this is the jumpstart and motivation to continue their own personal healthier lifestyle journeys.”
The Snoqualmie Anytime Fitness is one of more than 1,000 Anytime Fitness locations across the country hosting the free outdoor exercise classes.
