At 5:02 pm on November 18th, a gray SUV was traveling Westbound I90 in the area of milepost 41.
The vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree on the right shoulder and came to a rest on its top in a ditch.
The front passenger sustained a broken right femur and the driver is under investigation for vehicular assault.
Drugs and alcohol were involved.
The 32-year-old Sultan female driver was charged with DUI, Vehicular assault and 4 counts of reckless endangerment.
The 38 year old injured male was in the passenger seat and taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Four children, ages 2 months, 12 months, 2 and 5 were also take to Harborview as a precautionary measure.
