Get ready, Snoqualmie! On October 31st, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the 21st annual Happiest Halloween event is back, offering fun and safe trick-or-treating experiences around the picturesque Douglas Street/Curtis Drive Loop in Snoqualmie Ridge.
Hosted by Church on the Ridge, this beloved event promises costumes, community, and candy – all without the spooky vibes.
A Halloween Tradition for the Community
Since its humble beginnings in 2003 with a horse-drawn carriage and Krispy Kreme donuts for 700 homes, Happiest Halloween has grown into a cherished community event. With four themed attractions this year, there’s something for everyone in the family:
- Pirate Ship – 7233 Douglas Avenue SE: Scallywags, treasure, and candy plunder!
- Hall of Heroes – 34719 Curtis Drive: Meet Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, and more superheroes.
- Princess Castle – 7402 Curtis Drive: Cinderella, Belle, Elsa, and your favorite fairytale characters await.
- Jungle Cruise Hayride – Board the adventure next to the Princess Castle for a fun ride through the event area.
A No-Scare Celebration
According to Jeff Mihal, the event planner, “We love to serve our community and shine light on what can be, at times, a rather dark, scary and gory holiday. All our event planning is filtered through our five core values: Excellence, Integrity, Family-friendly, Safety and Fun.”
Mihal continues, “Our goal is to provide a positive, non-scary, candy-filled Halloween experience for the residents of the Snoqualmie Valley as well as anyone visiting our city during Halloween.”
