In the Snoqualmie Valley, a unique event is wagging its tail in anticipation, ready to celebrate our four-legged family members.
The Snoqualmie Valley Family Dog Show is not your ordinary dog show. It’s a “Family Friendly” gathering designed to unite the community through a shared affection for our furry friends. This event promises a day filled with joy, laughter, and the unconditional love only dogs can provide.
Forget the stiff competition of traditional dog shows; this event celebrates the quirks and qualities that make our pets unique. “The Snoqualmie Valley Family Dog Show is a celebration of the pooches who have won our hearts! With rolls, wrinkles, gray muzzles, and shared memories, we want to award your pet for being perfectly unique,” organizer Church on the Ridge enthusiastically shares.
Whether it’s the fluffiness of their fur, the wisdom in their senior years, or the uncanny resemblance they bear to their owner, there’s a category for every canine.
Competitions and Categories
The show features a variety of categories, including Fluffiest Dog, Best Senior (8+), Dog & Owner Lookalike, Best Doggy Smile, Best Trick, Goodest Boy/Girl, and Waggiest Tail.
Judges will determine which dog exemplifies each category best, leading to the prestigious Best In Show award. For those not looking to compete, the event also offers AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog testing, ensuring every participant goes home feeling like a winner.
A Day of Fun for Everyone
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th, from 10 am to 2 pm and promises many activities for families and their dogs. Attendees can enjoy vendor booths, balloons, games of chance, and the joy of community togetherness. This will occur at Church on the Ridge at 35221-SE Douglas Street, ensuring a beautiful backdrop for the day’s festivities.
Food and refreshment options, including the Spooky Dogs Hot Dog Food Truck and the Trail Youth Coffee Tent, will be available, catering to all tastes and preferences.
