The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is advising drivers who use I-90 between Issaquah and North Bend (i.e. Snoqualmie Valley commuters) to plan extra time for their trips the week of July 7th, 2014.
WSDOT maintenance crews will close up to two lanes of I-90 to replace 13 damaged and cracked concrete panels. Divers should expect traffic slowdowns.
To ensure materials are available, much of the work must be done during the day with a single lane remaining closed overnight to allow the concrete to properly cure.
Drivers reported delays of 45 minutes, July 8, 2014, on I-90 near Issaquah due to this construction.
