3rd Annual GIVE GOOD Awards Nominees Announced, Honors Inspirational Community Members

The GIVE GOOD Awards Foundation released its 2015 nominees this week, announcing the names of 28 community members and organizations who represent the foundation’s mission of “Recognizing and celebrating those that inspire others!”

  • ARTS: Sally Rackets, Don Detrick, Bob Antone  give good
  • BUSINESS: Ignite Dance & Yoga, Mt Si Sports & Fitness
  • COURAGE: Greg Jorgensen
  • EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE: Melissa Danberg, Charlie Kinnune, Jean-Jacques Têtu, Laura Thompson, and Joe Dockery
  • YOUTH ADVOCATE: Angela McCann, Brock Osborn, Haili Shinn, Susan Evans
  • PARENT VOLUNTEER: Shawn & Renee Christensen, Mt Si High School Booster Club
  • TEEN SPIRIT: Baly Botten, Reid Howland, Ericka Mickelson
  • YOUTH LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE: Paul Riddle
  • UNSUNG HERO: Allen Tepper, Mt Si Food Bank, Larry Houch, Leah Aichele
  • SPIRIT OF THE VALLEY: Sallal Grange, Angela Donaldson

Recognizing inspirational people and highlighting the hard work invested into making the Snoqualmie Valley community a great place to live, the GIVE GOOD Awards will celebrate everyday heroes, outstanding citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations with a red carpet event on March 6th, 2015, 6:30 PM at The North Bend Theatre.

Along with recognizing inspiring moments of the nominees’ achievements, the GIVE GOOD Awards plan to highlight Snoqualmie Valley charities, local school programs and showcase Snoqualmie Valley talent during the red carpet event.

This year’s Master of Ceremony host is Snoqualmie Valley YMCA Director, Dave Mayer, and GIVE GOOD Awards President, Angela Craig. Special keynote speakers and local authors, Kimberly & Caleb Williams, will also share their inspirational story.
