Got some antiques (or what you think are antiques) in your home? Curious if you might be holding on to something valuable? Here’s a chance to find out – on a local scale.
This Friday, October 16, 2015 from 11AM – 5PM, community members are invited to the Mt. Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave S in North Bend, and get those items appraised. Find out what your family heirlooms are really worth.
Organizers said at their last Antique Appraisal event, an item purchased for $3 at Goodwill was valued at over $6,000!
The event is sponsored by Northwest Senior Care and Lyon’s Estate Sales. There is charge of $5 per item appraised with a three item limit. Snacks and beverages will also be provided.
Now… Time to go through some boxes I inherited from my grandparent’s home…
