For 15 years Quadrant Homes was busy building homes in Snoqualmie. Now it appears Quadrant wants to return to the Valley – after finishing its final Snoqualmie Ridge neighborhood about three years ago. This time it looks like they’d like to head to North Bend near Opstad Elementary School.
According to a City of North Bend Public Notice, Quadrant Homes submitted a Preliminary Plat application to subdivide an existing (nearly) 36-acre lot into a 124-lot, single family [home] subdivision called Cedar Landing.
The property is located about 1,000 sq. ft. south of Opstad and directly north of I-90. Part of the property sits adjacent to the busy freeway near exit 32, with access to the project site from Stilson Ave (432nd Ave) and SE 140th Street.
City Holds Public Hearing
The City of North Bend will hold a Public Hearing about the proposed Preliminary Plat of the Cedar Landing Subdivision on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:30PM in the City Hall Conference Room, 211 Main Ave N. in downtown North Bend.
Community members who can’t make the meeting but would like to submit comments can do so by mail: P.O. Box 896 North Bend WA 98045; email:jburrell@northbendwa.gov; fax:(425) 888- 5636 or drop in person at City Hall. Comments must be received by January 27th at 4:30PM and should be as specific as possible.

If the new subdivision happens, it would most likely be quite awhile before any homes materialize on the property. Numerous steps must be cleared before homes are actually built, which can take many months.

- SEPA Determination
- Preliminary Plat Approval (Following preliminary plat approval)
- Engineering Review and Approval following preliminary plat approval.
