Fans still have to wait over a year to re-visit the current-day town of Twin Peaks, but it appears Showtime has released a teaser (and somewhat mysterious) trailer to fuel anticipation of the new 18 episode series, featuring an interesting perspective of Snoqualmie Falls and great shots of Mount Si and the Valley.
Twin Peaks filming in the Snoqualmie Valley wrapped up in October. Film activity around the area in September drew dedicated fans from near and far (like Europe) to watch as iconic locations like Twede’s Cafe were transformed back to their early 90’s Twin Peaks glory…. like the Double R Diner.
Cast and crew are presumably back in Hollywood now working their magic, leaving fans waiting for David Lynch and Mark Frost to work their mysterious magic in Twin Peaks.
Many familiar faces are set to return in the new series like Kyle MacLachlan as FBI Agent Dale Cooper. Amanda Seyfried will be a new face in Twin Peaks and Sheryl Lee returns as Laura Palmer.
