It is going to be a crazy, holiday-inspired weekend in North Bend!
On Friday, December 4th and Saturday, December 5, 2015 the City of North Bend, the Si View Parks District and the Mt. Si Senior Center are all hosting their long-standing, and fun, kickoffs to the holiday season. And a couple of the events could also help you with your holiday shopping, too!
On Friday, December 4th & 5th, the Mt. Si Senior Center, 411 Main Ave in North Bend, is hosting their yearly Holiday Bazaar. Hours are Friday: 11AM – 7PM and Saturday, 9AM – 4PM. Saturday also features the annual Santa Breakfast with photos, starting at 8:30AM.
Organizers say they will have some *AMAZING* finds on Christmas decorations and/or gifts.
Continuing the Saturday holiday fun is the 12th annual Si View Parks Holiday Bazaar at the historic Si View Community Center (400 SE Orchard Drive) from 10AM – 3PM.
Organizers say with a wide variety of locally handmade goods, the holiday bazaar is the perfect stop for local holiday shopping. Visitors will find a full house filled with unique, one of a kind arts & crafts from candles, jewelry, custom art, paper crafts, baked goods and sweets, home decor, photography and more.
They also have local entertainment lined up featuring holiday carolers and youth performers. If you have a holiday sweet tooth, the snack shop will be open and stocked with cookies and hot drinks.
One lucky raffle participant will also win a gift basket filled to the rim with goods donated by our vendors. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the snack shop for $1 each.
Then as the Holiday Bazaars end, holiday happenings continue on the streets of downtown North Bend, with this always anticipated, family friendly small town event.
The North Bend Holiday Festival runs from 4PM – 8PM, December 5th. Organizers say North Bend Way will close to traffic from Bendigo Blvd to Ballarat, but will be open for Holiday Spirit.
Bring the entire family for a fun-filled afternoon and evening featuring music, entertainment, fire pits, food and drink, kid activities, photos with Santa, a holiday tree-lighting ceremony and a traditional community sing-along in downtown North Bend.
