2025 Boeing Classic Flyover Opens Tournament with a Valley Buzz

If you had to work today, or completely forgot it was happening until a giant blue Boeing jetliner soared over your house, here’s your chance to catch the action.

The flyover took place earlier today and marked the start of the 2025 Boeing Classic Golf Tournament, a stop on the PGA Champions Tour. The tournament runs through Sunday, August 10, at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge in Snoqualmie, WA.

Thanks to the City of Snoqualmie for capturing this impressive moment on video. The flyover has become a signature tradition of the tournament, thrilling spectators on the course and startling more than a few residents who weren’t expecting it. It’s one of the few times each year that a commercial jetliner passes low over the Valley on purpose, loud, proud, and right on schedule.

For longtime fans, the flyover is a welcome tradition. For newcomers, it’s a guaranteed conversation starter and maybe a reason to momentarily panic before realizing it’s planned. Either way, it’s part of what makes the Boeing Classic a one-of-a-kind experience in the Valley each year.
