15-Year-Old Snoqualmie Girl Identified in Shoreline Homicide Investigation

The King County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that detectives are actively investigating the homicide of a 15-year-old Snoqualmie resident. No arrests have been made.

The 15-year-old was reported missing to the Snoqualmie Police on the morning of June 2. According to police, her mother said she had not been seen since May 30. Her information was entered into the state’s missing persons database, which triggered the Washington State Patrol to issue a missing person flyer.

She was later identified as a deceased individual found in Shoreline. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office lists the date of the incident as May 31, with the cause recorded as gunshot wounds to the head and neck. The report does not specify where the incident occurred.

In response to questions from Living Snoqualmie, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office said, “I spoke with the Captain of our Major Crimes division, and he confirmed detectives are actively investigating the homicide of a 15-year-old girl that occurred over the weekend in Shoreline. No arrests have been made.”

The spokesperson added, “As this is a sensitive investigation, that is all the information we can provide at this time. I will definitely reach out and share more when we can.”

Living Snoqualmie asked whether the teen’s body was discovered before the missing person report was filed and whether the date listed by the Medical Examiner reflects when she was found or an estimated time of the incident. The Sheriff’s Office stated they could not provide further details at this stage due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
