Woman Killed in Hit and Run Near North Bend; Detectives Need Help Locating Suspect/Vehicle

A woman in her 50’s was struck and killed in a hit and run accident early this morning near North Bend and police need help locating the suspect vehicle.

The incident started around 3AM when a group was driving just east of the Snoqualmie Casino after a night out.  An argument ensued and the driver and a woman passenger got out of the car and walked in different directions on 394th Pl SE.  394th connects North Bend Way and Highway 202, ending up right near Snoqualmie Middle School.

The driver eventually walked back to the car and the group drove around looking for the woman.  A short time later they found the woman in a ditch near the 10200 Block of 394th PL SE.  She had been struck and killed by a vehicle.

Detectives said debris left at the scene by the suspect vehicle, including a left front headlight, is consistent with a full size pickup truck.  Detectives believe there will be significant damage to the left front of the truck.

The victim’s name has not been released, but according to Komo News the group of people she was with are all from the North Bend area.
