Winter is Coming~Traction Advisory Snoqualmie Pass

I-90/Snoqualmie: The pass is open both directions with chains required on all vehicles except AWD/4WD.

UPDATE | 8:14 AM

Closure on I-90 eastbound at milepost 47, five miles east of the summit due to multiple spin-outs and jack-knifed vehicles. The highway will be closed for approximately two hours until crews can clear disabled vehicles. The estimated time for reopening is 10:15 am.

I-90 Both Directions – Traction Advisory on I-90, Snoqualmie Pass: both directions at milepost 47, five miles west of the summit.to milepost 56, four miles west of the summit.

Chains required all vehicles except all-wheel drive, oversize vehicles prohibited.

Travelers are experiencing up to 30 minutes of added travel time. WSP is on scene performing chain enforcement checks.


From milepost 47 to milepost 56

It is snowing with snow and slush on the roadway. It is expected to snow the rest of tonight with an accumulation of 5 to 10 inches
