Wheel-less in North Bend; Resident Has BMW Wagon Stripped of Tires, Wheels

North Bend residents are without the wheels on their vehicle and are hoping someone might have information that could help find the culprits who left their BMW 325xi Wagon wheel-less and on blocks.

Neighbor Timothy Gilliam said the vehicle was parked in an alley off Main Ave North in downtown North Bend, behind Snoqualmie Valley Eyecare. Last Thursday night, November 20, 2014, while the Gilliam was walking his dogs, he noticed that it looked like the car’s right rear shock had collapsed, but said because the car had been sitting awhile (parked about 6 weeks), he didn’t think too much of it.

Then on Friday morning when he returned home from work, he noticed all of the wheels and tires had been removed from his neighbors’ vehicle (as pictured below). He promptly woke the owner and notified him of the car’s condition. The wheels and tires are estimated to be worth $2,000.

The owners notified the Snoqualmie Police Department on Friday and filed a theft report.  Anyone with information about the theft can contact the Snoqualmie Police Department at 425.888.3333. The owners are offering a reward as well.

Gilliam says the area where the theft occurred gets a lot of foot traffic and has suspected drug activity.
