It seems a busy weekend is on tap in the Snoqualmie Valley.  Here’s some of the events happening the weekend of September 25th – September 27th.

Finally Friday Art & Wine Walk

This is the last wine walk of the season in downtown Snoqualmie – Friday, September 25, 2015.  Grab some friends and stroll through historic Snoqualmie. Enjoy live music, artists in action, food and wine at various venues including Sigillo Cellars, Down to Earth Flowers & Gifts, Wild Hare Vintage and The Bindlestick Coffee & Beer House.

Mount Si Football Home at Wildcat Stadium

The Mount Si Wildcats play at home Friday, September 25th at 7PM. They take on Bothell High School and hope to rebound aftermshs logo last week’s tough loss to Skyline, 44-7.

Mount Si is currently 2-1, putting them in 3rd place in the tough KingCo 4A Conference.  Bothell is currently winless at 0-2.

MSHS Dance Team Clothes for the Cause

Doing some Fall cleaning and ready to get rid of all those clothes that the kids have outgrown and old textiles jamming your linen closet?

Then bag them up and bring them down to the Mount Si Freshman Campus, 9002 Railroad Ave SE, on Saturday, September 26th from 3 – 4PM and help the MSHS Dance Team win the Battle of the Bags, a Clothes for the Cause Fundraiser.

Accepted items include clothing (jackets, jeans, T-shirts, etc.), paired shoes, towels, stuffed animals, hats, sheets, blankets, quilts, bedspreads, drapes, purses, belts, lone socks.

The Dance Team, which launched this summer, is hoping to collect 5,000 pounds of new or used textiles to help finance needed equipment and finance competition.

Movie in the Park – Monster’s University

Saturday, September 26th at  7:15 at Snoqualmie Community Park, City of Snoqualmie will be showing for Monsters University on the 70 foot outdoor big screen. Bring your blankets and sweatshirts. This is a fun, FREE community event!

Wander the streets of downtown North Bend on Saturday, September 26th from 6PM to midnight. Socialize with friends and neighbors, hear some great live blues music, enjoy the food and drink at lots of local businesses.  32 acts at 23 venues and one ticket gets you in.  For more information visit www.northbendblueswalk.com

NB Blues Walk

FREE Pet Vaccines & $5 Microchips

Valley Animal Partners (VAP) is hosting  free vaccine clinic on Sunday, September 27th from 10AM to Noon at U Dirty Dog, 301 W North Bend Way. The free vaccines and low-cost microchips are a service for pets of residents who could otherwise not afford them. No appointment is necessary – just stop on by!
