Weekend FUN | Popular Healthy Kids Day on Tap at Snoqualmie Valley YMCA

A fun, FREE family focused event is on tap for the entire Snoqualmie Valley this Saturday, April 25th, from 10AM – 1PM, at the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA – it’s time again for the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day.

The yearly April event typically draws over 1,000 local kids and adults with its focus on healthy activities to get kids moving – and other family friendly FUN.

This year the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA is throwing some new fun into the mix, including human-sized hamster ball races, a giant RC car track and archery. Also new for 2015 – the Taco Time Fresh Truck will be handing out free mini taco bowls and local food truck, My Chef Lyn, will have lunch staples for sale.

And don’t fret – all the old favorite activities are coming back to the popular event – like the bounce houses, face painting, the balloon man, fire trucks, police vehicles and more.

The YMCA says… “See You Saturday!”

About Healthy Kids Day

Healthy Kids Day takes place at thousands of Ys across the country as its national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids.

The event is jam-packed with fun activities to help parents improve their kids’ lifestyles for the long-term. Research shows that without access to activities that stimulate both the mind and body, kids are more prone to gain weight and fall behind academically over the summer months.
